OUR STORY
From the Job Site to Our Own Company
In April 2021, I was working as a project engineer for a design-build commercial contractor the same job I had during and right after college. I had the experience, I had the background, and I had a vision. So I made the decision to quit and start Sunset.
Growing up, I worked alongside my dad whose craft was rooted in masonry. By the time I was ready to go out on my own, I already had most of what I needed to get started.
The goal was simple: build a company that we own something built to the same standard as the companies my dad had spent his career working for. That vision is where Sunset began.
My dad was ready too. He was tired of building other people's businesses and wanted to build something side by side with me something we could both be proud to call ours. So we started it together.

The first is the quality of our work. We come from a hardscape and masonry background, and that level of craft carries into everything we do. We don't cut corners, we don't rush finishes, and we don't hand off a project until it's right.
The second is communication. One of the most common complaints homeowners have about contractors is that they're impossible to reach once the job starts. At Sunset, we make it a priority to stay in contact every step of the way so you always know where your project stands.
Where We Work :
Based in Elizabeth, CO, we serve communities across the Denver metro and surrounding areas. Our primary focus is in Parker, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, and Castle Pines, though we regularly work throughout Denver, Aurora, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lakewood, and as far south as Colorado Springs and Monument.
